All calls to the Picnik API require an _apikey parameter. This parameter uniquely identifies your application to Picnik's servers and is used for tracking, performance testing, quality assurance, and custom functionality.

Each application you create should have its own api key. In addition, you may want to use different api keys for development, test, and release version of your product (although this isn't necessary).
